Position Summary:

Non-CDL Delivery Drivers use a company supplied vehicle to deliver finished products to locations within the PNW area. This position includes loading and unloading the doors and other related products.

Responsibilities:

• Safe vehicle operation while following assigned delivery route.
• Adhere to all road laws and DOT regulations (seat belts, load securement, etc.)
• Perform daily pre/post trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Alert management of vehicle maintenance needs and safety deficiencies.
• Monitor vehicle on board documentation (insurance, registration, etc.) for compliance and accuracy.
• Conduct vehicle operations and driver activities in accordance with CODEL’s code of conduct and safety requirements.
• Perform safe driving and load securement habits ensuring product is delivered to CODEL customers in a timely way and without damage.
• Ensure driver, vehicle, and load documents (BOL) are present at all times during vehicle operation and during time of WSP OR OSP inspections.
• Immediately alert management if an accident occurs and/or if the vehicle being operated is damaged in any way.
• Pick doors and related product.
• Deliver products to customer locations – not overnight.
• Manually load and unload product
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle.
• Always provide a clean and professional presentation.
• Be courteous and professional while interacting with customers.
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current state issued driver’s license required.
• Clean Driving record
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance reasons.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient in English

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance or stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl. The position requires that ability to lift 100 lbs. or more.
• Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.
• The employee is regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic performing daily tasks.
• The employee is required to be able to safely operate a vehicle.
