As a B2B Customer Service Representative you will be processing purchase orders, facilitating creation of new client accounts, and acting as the point-of-contact for customers. You will work closely with Orbit’s sales team and other departments to service our clients above and beyond the call of duty. Primary responsibilities

  • Accurately input data & orders into our database.
  • Process customer purchase orders and distribute order confirmation.
  • Manage sales promotions.
  • Effectively resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Promptly respond to customer email inquiries and requests.
  • Onboard new customers and service existing customer accounts.
  • Provide customers with accurate pricing and availability of products.
  • Alert customer when items are out of stock/discontinued and suggest value-engineered alternatives.
  • Follow up on customer orders and provide expected delivery date.
  • Check inventory control.
  • Expedite or trace missing /delayed shipments by working with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, operations and other departments.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including filing and record retention.
Requirements

 

  • High school or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in order processing, customer service.- Preferred
  • Electrical product experience is a preferred!
  • High level of computer literacy (PC literate with Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be customer-retention focused
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in an fast paced environment
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize, multi task and work well as part of a team
  • Sage 300 Experience- is a plus
