In this role, you will have project management accountability for projects that impact our multinational organization. You will oversee project(s) or phases of the project. Your responsibilities will include schedule management, scope management, performance management, cost management, and status reporting. You will be expected to foster relationships with your teams and FRG’s valued clients.
The work location is 264 W. Chatham Street, Cary, North Carolina. Core hours are 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. M-F.
The right project manager will be:
• The candidate will have the experience, personality, and skills to navigate a new, long-term client with FRG.
• The candidate will need to be able to convey a proven PM track record and be able to quickly assume day-to-day PM responsibilities.
• The candidate will build a good rapport with our FRG, SAS, and Client project teams, manage conflict effectively, manage a schedule, and ultimately manage project financials.
• The candidate will have strong communication skills and experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• The candidate will have experience with SDLC, a PMO, and be a good fit for FRG’s culture (adaptable).

In this role, you will:
• Assist with the creation of the project schedule
• Coordinate task completion with the project team, per the schedule
• Assist with scope control to minimize budget, time, and resource overruns
• Support achievement of project success performance objectives
• Assist with resource budgeting/planning
• Provide routing project status updates including progress, risks, issues, and decisions
• Listen to customer needs and present appropriate solutions
• Maintain and develop relationships with past, existing, and future clients
• Maintain and develop collaborative relationships with FRG internal and external teams
• Conduct SMEs
• Embrace challenges and learn new skills; be a catalyst for change
• Perform other tasks as assigned
Job requirements:
• MS degree in the areas of Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Sciences, or Finance, AND 1-2 years relevant experience OR a BS degree plus a minimum of 2+ years relevant experience
• Knowledge and understanding of project management principles
• Knowledge of project financial management including project budget, costs, expenses, billing, and margin
• Familiarity with Project Management tools /software
• Solid oral and written communication skills as well as facilitation and presentation skills
• Excellent problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as the business needs dictate
• Ability to multi-task and handle rapidly shifting priorities in a fast-changing environment
• Knowledge of agile methodology concepts
• Ability to identify and escalate project risks
• Risk management / financial services industry experience
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
