The Regional Practice Administrator role is to act as the representative for the interests of the respective LucidHealth Wisconsin Practices and its team of radiologists and facilities served by LucidHealth. The actions of the Regional Practice Administrator should support the day- to -day operations necessary for the radiology group to effectively care for patients and maintain a strong business practice. The Regional Practice Administrator creates a cooperative culture uniting the radiologists, the sites they serve, and the support team at LucidHealth. The Regional Practice Administrator is the bond that brings interests of each party to the conversation and fosters the communication to build strong operational alignment. These actions involve thorough understanding of the operations of the practice and the needs of our patients, our radiologists, the referring physicians, and hospitals.
- Represent the radiologists’ interests at each facility and coordinate communications with hospital leadership.
- Coordinate with LucidHealth and hospitals in support of operations and IT initiatives
- Create and foster culture of cooperation between LucidHealth, the practice and hospital personnel.
- Create communication opportunities for radiologists from different practices to interact and provide support to each other.
- Facilitate communication between Lucid Health, the practices, and partner sites.
- Ensure hospital leadership satisfaction through regular meetings.
- Prepare, review, and distribute data for reporting in conjunction with performance management.
- Proactively review customer metrics and develop plans to address any issues.
- Assist with project management oversight for integration and major projects as related to existing and new customers.
- Attend meetings and events such as recruiting events, resident dinners, practice meetings, conferences etc. and represent LucidHealth with potential physician candidates.
- Works with partner sites to collect regulatory data, compile, and distribute reports.
- Prepares and distributes dosimeter badges, monitor compliance, and prepare annual reports.
- Support the Practice’s MIPS/quality process and coordinate with the radiologists and the billing vendor.
- Assist with clinical protocol and policy management in collaboration with the practice, partner sites, and Lucid Health.
- Support patients and partner sites with billing/AR questions and issues; work with LucidHealth RCM leadership and vendors in resolving operational and billing related questions/issues.
- Arrange, help prepare and distribute meeting materials for practice related meetings.
- Support and facilitate recruitment of candidates and onboarding of new radiologists.
- Provide oversight and support to the Physician Scheduling Lead
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES
- Work with LucidHealth training staff to develop training guides and processes to improve radiologists’ work-life experience.
- Fosters an approach to continuously improve the quality of the practice and strive to form successful relationships with all LucidHealth team members in support of the organization’s mission/vision/values.
- Partner with LucidHealth IT on communication and planning for downtimes, upgrades, new technology and other IT needs of the practice.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5 or more years of Healthcare operations experience preferred
- 3 or more years of radiology experience preferred
- Ability to take the initiative to continually improve and enhance the scheduling function.
- Project management capabilities.
- Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
- Ability to prepare and maintain records and reports.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, hospital staff and others within the practice.
- Ability to provide meticulous attention to details.
