Veterinary Emergency Client Services Representative

Mason Dixon Animal Emergency Hospital is seeking client service representatives with a passion for communicating with clients and serving their pets. You are the first interaction that the community has with our hospital. You will need to be able to function calmly and compassionately in situations that can be emotional and difficult for our clients. Previous veterinary hospital experience is preferred.  


Job Duties: 

  • Candidates should possess solid communication skills with clients, co-workers, referring veterinarians, referral centers, and other members of the community 
  • Proficient in completing sales, beginning and end of day duties,  
  • Be able to handle multiple tasks while working independently or with a team 
  • Maintain a positive attitude, willingness to learn and be a compassionate and efficient member of the team 
  • Basic computer skills to utilize our cloud based computer system, email records to outside facilities  
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with the ability to multi-task efficiently 
  • Triaging clients concerns over the phone 
  • Managing communication with referring veterinarians in the community 
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness 
  • Assisting new team members  

Job Type and Schedule: Full-time, Part-Time, weekend days and weekend overnights, 

Salary: Starting at $15.00-18.00 per hour, dependent on experience
