The Position
VP, Business Development, Southwest (Texas)- Remote
We are seeking a VP, Business Development to focus on the design, sale, and delivery of point of care revenue cycle solutions that optimize collection of patient responsibility balances and improve patient yield while offering patient-centric solutions to improve the affordability of, and access to, healthcare. The role will be responsible for executing on the product go to market strategy, building internal and external relationships, and overseeing delivery results and client satisfaction. Candidate must be based in Texas.
Expectations
- Responsible and accountable for planning, qualifying, obtaining and managing new and existing sales opportunities to achieve and exceed business plans
- Identify new and creative sales approaches and ways to improve the prospect assimilation process
- Manage and evaluate sales pipeline to ensure tracking for quarterly and annual goals
- Maintain and provide accurate pipeline tracking including but not limited to up to date data entry of leads and prospects into Salesforce
- Plan, organize and orchestrate internal communication and resources appropriately to obtain sales objective
- Research and evaluate current and potential markets for sales opportunities
- Develop strong relationships with customers, trade professionals, and external contacts
- Maintains professional knowledge by attending networking events and partnering with industry associations
- Keep up-to-date on industry, market, and trends
- This position will require travel up to 50% of the time, at irregular intervals

- Understanding of market penetration strategies, market development techniques, and market segmentation strategies
- Innovative, energetic, and creative with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment and perform multiple roles and functions
- Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
Education and Experience
- 10+ years' experience in Provider Revenue Cycle Management Operations
- Preference for healthcare consulting experience
- Proven track record of selling, managing client relationships, and delivering solutions that demonstrate an understanding of client needs
- Extensive experience calling on and selling to "C" level healthcare executives
