This position will be responsible for loading and securing delivery trucks for outgoing deliveries maintaining safety standards. This also includes packaging/wrapping products for shipping and helping daytime crating crew complete the workload. Moving trucks around the yard and using forklift when needed. As well as documenting products being packaged or loaded. This is a 2nd shift (afternoon), approximately 3-11pm.

Responsibilities:

• Pick doors and related products in preparation for loading activities. 
• Stage and secure vehicles in company yard.
• Perform safe and efficient loading activities, to include manual lifting and movement, while following safe mount/dismount and other safety procedures. 
• Ensure freight is properly secured for safe transport, with a focus on mitigate DOT exposure and freight damage.
• Scan and document loaded trucks.
• Assist with nightly shop cleaning and lock up, as directed. 
• Follow procedures for proper crate building. 
• Follow safe operating practices while using forklift to move freight, with attention paid to minimizing freight damage. 
• Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

• Valid and current WA state driver’s license preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift 100lbs +
• Forklift Experience
