B&L specializes in solid waste management, site design, transportation engineering, water resources, environmental and facilities engineering. We are currently looking for a CAD Designer/Drafter to join our Solid Waste practice area working within our Utica or surrounding offices. Responsibilities include:

  • Conceptual design and layout of site plans
  • Detailed grading plans 
  • Earthwork modeling and quantity calculations
  • Piping system layout and profile development
  • Stormwater systems
  • Other related civil site work and detailing associated with heavy highway, solid waste, earthwork and environmental engineering projects
Requirements

Candidates should have as a minimum an associated degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying or related technical fields. New graduates are encouraged to apply with proficient skills. Candidates must be proficient with AutoCAD and experience with Civil 3D and/or survey and grading experience is preferred. Consulting engineering experience is a plus, but not required. 

 

Estimated Pay Range: $26-32/hour.

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
