Description

Tampa, FL - Ruffolo, Hooper, & Associates, M.D., P.A. (RHA) is a multispecialty hospital-based pathology group covering various locations in Florida. We are seeking an AP/CP and Neuropathology board-certified or board-eligible pathologist for a role scheduled to open in 2024 within one of the largest facilities we serve in the Tampa Bay area. This location has a rapidly growing neurosurgery service and the ideal candidate would be integral to the success of this program. Strong general surgical pathology skills as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential for this role.


RHA was established in 1965 and has been providing services to the Tampa Bay area community since then. In the past few years, we have expanded our geographical service areas to Key West and Sebring. Our physicians serve as laboratory medical directors and staff pathologists at hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, independent laboratories, and other patient care centers. Many of our pathologists provide additional services to the local academic community, serving as instructors and faculty for medical teaching institutions specializing in the training of future medical professionals.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited university
  • AP/CP or AP Board Certification in good standing
  • Neuropathology Board certified or Board eligible
