Role: R2i is looking for a vibrant VP, Group Account Director with extensive marketing and client development experience to join our team of digital marketers. This person is a business builder, taking a lead role in the development and growth of our current clients, and nurturing relationships with new clients.
They lead a team and portfolio of accounts comprised of large- and smaller-scale engagements. The VP, Group Account Director is responsible for overall client satisfaction, team leadership and quality of service. They ensure the success and growth of their portfolios by developing strong relationships and strategic roadmaps while also overseeing their team's execution of projects in progress.
They work with Operations and Finance to meet/exceed profitability targets, partner with New Business on pitches and facilitate execution of contracts. As a senior leader within the organization they also participate in the crafting and implementation of agency-wide initiatives and communication strategies. A great VP loves all things tech and web-related, is able to spot opportunities and successfully drive them to completion, is comfortable cultivating executive-level client relationships, and enjoys being part of a nimble leadership team.
