We're seeking a junior developer to join our crew. In this role, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with other developers and the design team to create custom websites that boast high performance and scalability. They will also be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and enhancing existing codebases, identifying areas for user experience enhancement, and delivering end-to-end solutions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to continuously improving their skill sets and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in WordPress web development.

Job Description:

As a Junior Web Developer / Web Development Intern, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the development of web applications and websites using various programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more.
• Collaborating with the development team to implement new features and functionalities to existing websites and applications.
• Participating in code reviews and learning from feedback provided by senior developers.
• Supporting the debugging and troubleshooting of web-related issues to ensure smooth user experiences.
• Contributing to the design and layout of web pages while adhering to company brand guidelines.
• Assisting in the optimization of web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conducting research on emerging web technologies and presenting your findings to the team.
• Assisting in website content updates and ensuring proper data integration.
• Taking ownership of small development projects and delivering them within specified timelines.
• Actively participating in team meetings and providing creative input to improve our web development processes.

Requirements:

• A strong passion for web development and a desire to pursue a career in this field.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, PHP
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions from senior developers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members 
• Prior experience with personal or academic web development projects (for interns) is a plus.
