We are looking for talented and dedicated people to join our Fingerprinting team. You will play a critical role on our team, protecting the safety of children in child care programs throughout Connecticut by fingerprinting child care and education staff. Your work will give parents the comfort of knowing that the people taking care of their children have been screened for safety and security.
What you will do
- You will drive to child care programs throughout the state to fingerprint early childhood staff.
- You will help early care and education staff fill out paperwork and schedule appointments.
- You will provide administrative assistance to the early childhood team, helping with special projects as needed.
When and where you will work
Our team members typically work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting their days at our beautiful new office in Rocky Hill before heading out into the community and then returning to our office at the end of the work day. Or, they may work in our office on days they are not providing fingerprint services. Please note that work schedules fluctuate to include up to two late nights per week and two Saturdays a month. You will use your own vehicle to drive to different centers and be reimbursed for mileage.

Available Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (up to two evenings per week, and two weekends per month, are required).
The Pay & Benefits: $15.50 per hour
Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking applicants who are hired and pass certification after 90 days on the job will get an additional $.75 per hour (an additional $1.50 per hour for both languages).

Who you are
- You have a high school diploma or GED.
- You have some experience with customer service or call center operations.
- You are a personable team player with strong communication skills.
