Description

OpenLoop is looking for 1099 Certified Medical Assistants to join our team remotely.


About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • This role contains very little patient communication, mainly focusing on documentation and sending next steps of care plan to patients 
  • Review patient charts & cognitive assessments to provide recommendations to the Physician
  • Assists the physician by acting as a liaison on behalf of the patient to provide patient with information to obtain specialty testing and/or specialty physician consultation.
  • Reconcile EHR Data and update consult notes by documenting patient data, treatments and procedures.
  • Document all patient calls in the EHR and help patients meet provider care plan goals as needed
  • Other administrative and clinical operations duties as assigned.

Pay & Perks

  • $2 per patient review (approx 3-5 min each)

Other Info

  • This is a temporary 1099 role, approximately 3 months with potential to extend or convert to Full-time W2
Requirements
  • Demonstrates awareness of medical/legal issues, patient rights and regulatory compliance
  • Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assess data appropriate to the age-specific needs of the patients.
  • Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school (or 5 years of verifiable applicable work experience in patient care setting).
  • Data analytics skills a major plus
  • Valid, active Certification status
  • Must reside in the United States
