Description
Position Overview: Responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of cafeterias, all restrooms, locker rooms, laundry room, office area and any other areas as directed by supervisor.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions:
- General cleaning duties: This includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, washing, wiping off, hosing down, use of compressed air, vacuuming, and laundry.
- Ability to follow set sanitation procedures, schedules and document accordingly.
- May be required to fill in for other sanitation personnel due to vacations, absences, etc.
- May be required to assist in production whenever requested by supervisor.
- Will be required to be a member of Blood-Bourne Pathogen team.
- Ability to read instructions and follow all safety procedures/MSDS Sheets when working with cleaning chemicals.
- Other duties include; cleaning sinks throughout facility, collecting/dumping garbage from restrooms and offices, restocking soap and paper towel dispensers and weekly cleaning of wash pits.
- Weekly inspection of rodent traps
- Responsible for cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen and disposal of trash.
- Keeps storage shelves and stockrooms clean, organized with items properly stored and rotated when deliveries are made.
Non Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain a safe work environment and adheres to all company safety policies.
- Assist with various odd/end jobs as assigned by supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
- Daily interaction with all departments within the company.
