OpenLoop is looking for a Medical Assistant Recruiter to join our team remotely.
 

About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting Certified Medical Assistants to join our healthcare organization. Your primary goal is to ensure that our medical staff is composed of skilled and compassionate professionals who can provide excellent patient care. You will collaborate with hiring managers, establish relationships with educational institutions, and manage the recruitment process from start to finish.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


Sourcing Candidates:

  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and partnerships with educational institutions, to attract a pool of qualified CMAs.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future CMA positions.

Screening and Interviewing:

  • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet the required qualifications.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  • Work closely with department heads and supervisors to understand their staffing needs and preferences.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on the selection process, candidate evaluations, and offer negotiations.

Compliance and Credential Verification:

  • Ensure all candidates possess the necessary certifications and licenses, including CMA certification.
  • Verify candidates' professional references and work histories.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the hiring process.

Candidate Assessment:

  • Assess candidates' clinical and administrative skills, including medical knowledge, patient care abilities, and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Offer Management:

  • Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate terms, and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Communicate compensation packages, benefits, and other relevant details.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities, including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring metrics.
  • Provide regular reports to management on the status of open positions and recruitment progress.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in CMA recruitment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the recruitment process.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  •  Previous experience in healthcare recruitment, with a focus on CMAs, is advantageous.
  •  Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and CMA certification requirements.
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  •  Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software.
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
