We are looking for a highly-organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker to join our team of Eligibility Service Specialists. The Eligibility Services team plays a critical role in making sure that families in our state can afford child care. Specific responsibilities include reviewing documentation submitted by clients seeking to take advantage of Connecticut's Care4Kids child care subsidy, processing it to determine eligibility, and issuing certificates to those eligible. This position manages a caseload of applicants, methodically working through each case to make sure that clients are able to access services quickly and efficiently.
- You will review documentation submitted by clients seeking to access Connecticut's Care4Kids child care subsidy.
- You will process documentation to determine if the family is eligible for the subsidy and issue certificates to clients who are eligible.
- You will manage a caseload of clients, making sure that families are able to work through the application process in order to access child care benefits.
When and where you will work
This is a full-time position working 8 am to 4:30 pm with a half an hour for lunch. Training is on site in our beautiful new offices at 55 Capital Blvd. in Rocky Hill. Approximately 60 days after training, you may be eligible for hybrid scheduling - work from home and in the office.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (40 hours - full-time)

Who you are
- You have at minimum a High School diploma or GED.
- You have some experience reviewing applications to determine eligibility.
- You are a highly organized person who thrives in fast-paced environment.
- You are detail-oriented and are good at using your judgement to prioritize.
