Job Summary
The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and revitalize talent programs using insights from industry practices, employees, and managers for Exegy. You should have a proven track record of creating effective feedback mechanisms like surveys, focus groups, and employee-to-employee programs. Strong communication skills are essential for building relationships across all organizational levels. Your role will involve managing programs that enhance employee growth, learning, and contribution to the organization.
This entails crafting learning opportunities, development paths, and mentorship initiatives to promote a culture of ongoing advancement.
Responsibilities
Learning and Development Initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership and HR to identify skill gaps, learning needs, and career development opportunities
- Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars that enhance employees' skills, knowledge, and performance
- Develop engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, and resources
Career Pathway Design
- Partner with department heads to establish clear career pathways and growth trajectories for different roles within the organization
- Create visual roadmaps and resources that guide employees through various career stages and opportunities
Mentorship and Coaching Programs
- Develop and manage mentorship and coaching initiatives that facilitate knowledge sharing, skill development, and career guidance
- Pair mentors and mentees, provide resources, and monitor progress to ensure meaningful relationships
Internal Mobility and Promotions
- Collaborate with HR and managers to identify internal mobility opportunities and promote career advancement from within the organization
- Support employees in preparing for promotions by providing guidance on skill enhancement and performance improvement
Learning Culture Promotion
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, growth, and career development within the organization
- Organize learning events, lunch-and-learns, and workshops to engage employees in the learning process
Performance Alignment
- Collaborate with performance management teams to align talent development initiatives with performance goals and feedback
- Help employees identify development opportunities based on performance evaluations
Program Evaluation and Reporting
- Monitor the effectiveness of talent development programs through regular assessments, feedback collection, and performance metrics
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make informed recommendations
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with managers, mentors, and employees to understand their needs and ensure program alignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate talent development initiatives with broader organizational goals
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in designing and implementing talent development programs, career pathways, and mentorship initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of the capital markets and/or enterprise technology industry is an advantage
- Demonstrated experience with online portals (Confluence, SharePoint), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and e-learning platforms
- Strong knowledge of learning and development principles and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation/training delivery skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in program evaluation, designing learning programs based on business needs, data analysis, and reporting
- Strategic mindset and the ability to align programs with organizational objectives
- Self-starter the thrives on challenging the status quo
