What does your day look like at Partner?

The Diagnostic Imaging Licensed Veterinary Technicians or Veterinary Assistant plans and performs CTs and MRIs that are requested by doctors within PVESC, or from the referring community.  The Diagnostic Imaging team collaborates with PVESC departments to produce images that enable doctors to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and disorders. You will work with unique and varied cases, and you have the resources to enable optimal patient outcomes.

Additional Credentialed Technician Benefits:

• 36-40 hours of continuing education PTO (hours dependent on schedule)

• Conscious and deliberate building design layout that encourages interdepartmental communication and collaboration

 Licensed Technician Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year MRI and CT experience
• Graduate of accredited veterinary technology program; veterinary technician “in good standing” so applicant is or eligible to transfer registration to Virginia
• Knowledge and dedication to high standard anesthesia and patient care practices
• A curious and motivated energy 
• Interest in collaborating with the teams across the Partner network 
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance

Veterinary Assistant Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year MRI and CT experience
• Knowledge and dedication to high standard patient care practices
• A curious and motivated energy 
• Interest in collaborating with the teams across the Partner network 
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance
