The Director of National Partnerships will provide leadership and vision in the expansion of national partnerships. This position is responsible for the delivery of national services, which includes coaching and training that builds capacity for national partners to deliver PIQE programming with their own local teams. This position also works closely with the Program Development team to adapt PIQE’s curriculum to the needs of national partners. This position is an integral part of the organization’s overall strategic endeavors and will work with leadership to expand PIQE’s mission and support for families on a national level.

· Responsible for the expansion of organizational goals by cultivating and enhancing partnership with current and new stakeholders.

· Responsible for the coaching and training of national partners.

· Responsible for collaborating with the Director of Curriculum to lead the development, review, and editing of the parent education curriculum in English and Spanish. 

· Keep up to date with national education system changes and updates that will help advance PIQE’s national footprint.  

· Assist in the development of educational, programmatic, and marketing materials in collaboration with the Director of Policy including brochures, handouts, and flyers.

· Collaboration with the Fund Development department on the development of grant proposals and other fundraising needs.

· Support with the creation of content and coordinate workshops for programmatic staff on family engagement topics including annual retreat, all staff meetings, and special events.

· Design, train, and support the structures and processes necessary to implement robust data-driven instructional delivery.

· Conduct all capacity building training for new national teams (Program Orientation, Facilitators, Recruiters, and all administrative trainings).

· Oversee the collection and validation of national partnerships data entered into PIQE’s database and submit reports regularly.

· Coordinate National Orientation training with regional offices.

· Update National Menu of Service in alignment with curriculum available in California.

· Present at national conferences.

· Cultivate a pipeline of national partners.

· Create Memorandums of Understanding, contracts and additional documents as needed for new contracts.

· Create invoices as needed for National partnerships and Grants. 

· Follow up with outstanding invoices. 

· Coordinate national grants to ensure deliverables are met. 

· Attend Monthly partners meeting.

· Occasional weekend/evening work.

Requirements

  

The position may supervise Program Associates, student interns, volunteers, and temporary employees, as necessary.


· Integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed with demonstrated passion for PIQE’s mission and commitment to working collaboratively with a management team of senior professionals.

· Master's degree (M. A.) in Education, Curriculum Development or equivalent; and ten or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

· Knowledgeable about: family engagement research especially English Learners; Constructivism in Educational Theory, Bloom’s Taxonomy as well as Critical Pedagogy to program and evaluation design. 

· Ability and experience establishing and engaging effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at a national level.

· Strong public speaking ability.

· Ability to multitask and meet multiple project deadlines.

· Strong and effective problem solving and decision-making skills.

· Strong organizational abilities including project management, planning, delegating, and task facilitation.

· Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrate the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders including advisory groups, coalitions, forums, regulatory agencies, foundations, corporate sponsors, and practitioner groups.

· Computer literacy; knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.

· Knowledge of non-profit business management

· Bilingual Spanish/English language skills extremely desirable.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A current California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance coverage.

Salary Description
$75,000-$85,000
