Relationship Manager
Description

The Relationship Manager’s (RM) primary focus is to develop and enhance profitable business

relationships with new and existing brokers, vendors and customers (originators). The RM will be the

main point of contact between the originators and Amur Equipment Finance (AmurEF). The RM is

responsible for tracking, reporting deal flow and meeting overall volume and other key performance

metric expectations.

Reports To: Lead, Relationship Development

FLSA Status: Exempt

Key Responsibilities

Performance

  •  Meeting the growth objectives of the department
  •  Consistently achieve positive results on key performance indicators
  •  Develop and manage the primary relationship with originators to ensure opportunities are maximized
  •  Manage daily transaction flow and follow up on transactions prior to their expiration 

Administrative

  •  Understands and implements the credit criteria of what is needed for the transaction to be processed
  •  Understands and implements the documentation and funding requirements per AmurEF guidelines
  •  Effectively communicate and maintain quality service by enforcing AmurEF guidelines and processes to outside originators 

Technical

  •  Highly effective and skilled at utilizing Salesforce.com
  •  Knows how to effectively use Aspire, Microsoft Office and Tableau (if required)
  •  Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional organizations

House / Other Responsibilities

  •  Assist with the processing and closing of organically (house) sourced transactions (if applicable)
  •  Consistent and effective communication and follow-up on house transactions
  •  Identify new originator opportunities
  •  Regularly scan the competitive marketplace for updates on products and industry trends
Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree or equivalent 2 to 5 years related experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite as well as customer applications and systems
  • Must be self-motivated with strong initiative, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
