Connect for Health Colorado is a public, non-profit entity established by the Colorado General Assembly in 2011 to create a health insurance Marketplace. Since 2013, we’ve been helping individuals, families and small employers compare plans, apply for financial help, and buy health insurance. As Colorado’s official health insurance marketplace, we are the only place to apply for financial help to lower the monthly cost of premiums. Customers can shop online; get help by phone or online chat from Customer Service Center representatives; and access expert help from a statewide network of certified Brokers and community-based Assisters. Position Summary:


The Office and Administrative Coordinator is an entry-level member of the office management and administrative team. They will assist the Office and Administration Team in maintaining the day-to-day office operations as well as perform supportive administrative functions for senior level officers and other departments, as needed. Additionally, this role will be cross trained to support the office and administrative team in tasks such as: mailroom duties, office upkeep, access security, events, and the Board of Directors.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist the liaison to the Board of Directors and staff including scheduling, hosting board and committee meetings, disseminating, and archiving board materials and meeting minutes, and overseeing designated areas of Website maintenance.
  • Provide administrative support, including calendars, arrangements for travel, meetings, and events; as well as supporting projects and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Assist with office operations, including greeting visitors, mailroom dissemination, maintaining supplies, and the routing of voicemail messages.
  • Assist with any physical office changes or repairs such as rebuilds, furniture and peripheral changes and equipment repair.
  • Assist in maintaining records, including inventory, orders, supplies, and maintenance documentation.
  • Assist with planning virtual and in-person staff events, coordinating logistics and delegating support for meetings and events including securing sites, webinar/phone set-up, Audio & visual set up, developing agendas and materials.
  • Act as an additional contact for building management, maintenance, engineering, janitorial, security and other service vendors.
  • Cross train with team members and help cover during absence of other office and administrative team members as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

  

Position Requirements:

  • Colorado resident.
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience providing administrative support.
  • Strong computer and research skills and proficiency working with Microsoft products.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Friendly and collaborative.
  • Meeting planning, calendar, coordination, and event experience.
  • Highly organized, flexible, responsive and ability to multi-task and trouble-shoot.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal & written.
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors. 

Work Environment:

  • Currently working a hybrid remote schedule
  • The Connect for Health Colorado office is in the North Tech Center area of Denver, near the intersection of I-25 and I-225
  • The work schedule may include some non-traditional hours, weekends, and evening events.
  • Core office hours, typically 8am-5pm with some flexibility

Connect for Health Colorado offers a competitive benefits package. Using Connect for Health Colorado’s annual benefits allowance, employees may elect from various benefit offerings and tailor a package to best suit their individual needs. Connect for Health Colorado employees are eligible to participate in the organization’s 403(b) plan and are additionally provided with paid time off, short- and long-term disability and life insurance.  The hiring range for this position is $39, 400 - $45,200.
