Overview of Intern Program

PKF Mueller offers students the opportunity to kick start their professional careers by joining our internship programs. Here at PKF Mueller, we offer two different internships programs, an audit-focused program as well as a tax-focused program.

Our Internship programs are different than many in the fact that we treat all of our interns as associates. We value the knowledge our interns bring to the table as well as look forward to mentoring them along the way.

Audit Intern Program

We are looking for several interns to work during our busy season starting Spring of 2025. The internships are paid 40+ hours per week. This opportunity is in person and available in our Orland Park, Elgin, and Chicago, Illinois offices.

For those interns who successfully complete a challenging busy season experience, an invitation to return or a full-time position may be offered. This positing is specifically for the Audit internship program. We do offer a Tax internship program available in another posting.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Junior status or above with an audit class completed prior to internship.
• No more than 2 classes during the time of the internship (not including credits earned for internship) and those classes must be after normal business hours (8am-5pm).
• Have a strong personal identification with PKF Mueller’s firm values.
• Possess a valid drivers license or have reliable transportation to perform the job requirements.
