The Home Furnishings Division of BridgeTower Media is seeking a high-performing Director of Sales to lead our team. Our national brands, that include our flagship Furniture Today, connect manufacturers and retailers through print, digital and premier events. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The Sales Director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, coaching internal sales teams and understanding customer trends.

  • Knowledge of competitive media landscape; use for new business development and sales analysis. Accurate forecasting experience

What will you be Responsible for?

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure success.
  • Ensure execution and adoption of sales strategies, processes and tools to increase overall revenue growth with an emphasis on digital products, events and achieve budgeted goals. Lead the charge in new business development across the sales team to ensure leads are identified and cultivated to additional business with our products.
  • Collaborate with executive management, publishers, digital sales leaders and ad directors to identify and implement new revenue opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials and events.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals appropriately.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Develop and hold staff accountable to revenue goals, objectives, KPIs and other metrics by
  • coaching employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Provide management reporting.
  • Ensure sales team utilizes CRM to track and support sales effort.
  • Seek out major clients and develop strong relationships with them.
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Strong knowledge of the Home Furnishings industry including manufacturing and retail preferred, but not required.
