POL Quality Control Manager / Quality Control Specialist

We are currently seeking POL Quality Control Managers/Quality Control Specialists to oversee and manage quality assurance for Department of Defense (DoD) fueling infrastructure projects.
Required Experience
- Five (5) years of DoD POL construction-related management experience within the last five (5) years (does not include commercial or military experience)
- Three (3) consecutive years of on-site experience as a POL Quality Control Specialist within the last five (5) years
- Experience with piping and valve installation, mechanical repairs or upgrades, tank work, MIL DTL 24441 coatings, API & SSPC inspections, and system commissioning is preferred
- Broad knowledge in tank inspection, cleaning, repair, and fuel-related piping systems is desirable
Certifications and Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a high school diploma/GED with relevant experience
- Completion of USACE or NAVFAC QC Management course (certificate must be current—within 4 years)
- Ability to obtain the following certifications if not already held:
- OSHA 30-Hour (no older than 5 years)
- Confined Space Competent Person
- CPR & AED Certification
- Must meet eligibility for access to U.S. Government facilities
- This position does not require active security clearance
Responsibilities
- Manage and document all aspects of the quality control program on DoD POL projects
- Coordinate and implement QC procedures and ensure project compliance
- Monitor work performance and field activities
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and instructions
- Participate in and document quality-related meetings, including preparatory and initial phases
- Conduct inspections and ensure proper recordkeeping for QC activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external personnel
- Provide feedback on process improvements and assist with resolving issues
- Perform other related duties as required

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manage technical requirements
