JOB SUMMARY


The role of Measure Person is to perform various types of flooring measurements for specific retail stores, while providing superior customer service. Being cognizant of company margins is crucial to succeed in this role. A reliable means of transportation is required for employment. This position is part time. 



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy of all measurements.
  • Exhibit a high sense of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Operate custom measuring tools with precision and care.
  • Provide exceptional Customer Service on every assignment.
  • Travel to clients’ homes and/or businesses to document and collect flooring measurements.
  • Take ownership of all duties performed.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
