WORK HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
A part-time, seasonal appointment. On-campus responsibilities include practices on weekends and games (whenever they are scheduled by whatever league the team decides to join). All coaches are employed on an annual basis, and continued employment is based on annual performance reviews conducted by the Head Coach assigned and the Head of Athletics & Physical Education.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HSA coaches are responsible for supporting various aspects of the after-school program, such as coaching team members. The coach is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Greenhill School and the Hornet Sports Association.

Requirements

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess and maintain a coaching philosophy that is in accordance with the mission of Greenhill School;
  • A strong commitment to the student-athlete;
  • Coaching experience;
  • Good communication skills with players and parents.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Encourage, train, and coach the participants of the team
  • Execute practice sessions;
  • Represent Greenhill School and the HSA program in a professional manner and within the bounds of good sportsmanship.

This is an exempt position that is paid a coaching stipend over the duration of the season.
