Position Title: Broadcast Architecture Engineer
Reports to: Director of Media Engineering

Job Summary
As a Broadcast Architecture Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the technical infrastructure required for broadcasting operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless transmission of audio and video content over various media channels, such as television, radio, streaming platforms, and more. Your expertise will contribute to the high-quality delivery of content to a wide audience, requiring a deep understanding of broadcast technologies, network protocols, and system integration.

Essential Functions
- Design and plan broadcast systems, including audio, video, and lighting systems
- Interact with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to procure and install equipment
- Create detailed documentation for system architectures and setup procedures
- Maintain accurate records of equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and network configurations
- Test and commission broadcast systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot broadcast systems
- Stay up-to-date on new broadcast technologies
Other Responsibilities
- Implement quality control procedures to prevent and address issues affecting content delivery
- Provide training and technical support to operators, technicians, and production staff on the proper use of broadcast equipment and systems
Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing and implementing broadcast architectures, preferably in a media production or broadcasting environment.
- Strong knowledge of broadcast equipment, signal processing, codecs, and transmission technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to broadcasting and content delivery.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic broadcasting environment, including occasional off-hours and weekends.
