HRG has 8 offices in Pennsylvania (Harrisburg, King of Prussia, Pittsburgh, Lewisburg, State College, York, Chambersburg, Lehigh Valley) and one office in Morgantown, WV.


HRG is seeking a Proposal Specialist with 1-5 years of experience. The Proposal Specialist will work collaboratively with other Proposal Specialists as well as Marketing and Business Development team members, and technical leadership across HRG’s local offices. This position can be based in any HRG office territory and most of their work can be performed remotely or using a hybrid work schedule. 


Responsibilities

  • Review inbound lead sources to identify opportunities worth pursuing (IMS, ECMS, OpenGov, etc.)
  • Capture opportunities in CRM (Vantagepoint) and disseminate internally for stakeholder go/no-go decisions
  • Schedule and facilitate proposal production kickoff meetings using a Proposal Management Planning template
  • Lead proposal production including written content, layout, boilerplate language, scope/fee/schedule (to be produced by technical stakeholders), etc.
  • Contact and gather information from sub-consultants as needed
  • Produce client short-list presentations as needed
  • Participate in presentation practices as needed
  • Ensure quality of all produced material (brand consistency/layout, spelling/grammar, tone/style)
  • Support Corporate Marketing group in ongoing maintenance of employee resumes, project descriptions, photography, etc. within the OpenAsset digital asset management platform


Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or Technical Writing
  • 1-5 years professional experience
  • Architectural, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry and proposal production experience preferred, but not required
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud and InDesign experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
  • Understanding of CRM and content management systems preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work and coordinate efforts from multi-discipline teams across the firm's geographic reach and to lead team meetings with assertive and professional attitude
  • Ability to operate under tight deadlines, manage projects simultaneously, and urgent requests
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
