Volunteer Opportunities

Excite Volunteers are Members who volunteer their time to ensure the credit union fulfills its mission and reaches its long-term goals. All Volunteer positions are unpaid. 

• Board of Directors
• Associate Board
• Supervisory Committee 
• Community Development Advisory Board 

Open positions are posted annually in January and elections are held during the Annual Meeting in April or when a seat is vacated. Applications are accepted year round, but must be collected prior to the close of any open nomination period for consideration for a vacant position. Applicants can expect notification within three (3) months of application if they are eligible to move forward in the process.

• Active in the Community
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous Board, Supervisory, or senior level leadership experience 
• Professional Experience in one of the following fields: Financial acumen and Financial industry experience, Corporate Investments, Legal, Marketing & Communications, Strategic Planning, Banking Technology, Human Resources, Risk Management, Community Engagement, Advocacy, and/or Volunteerism
