Position Summary 

Veyl Ventures is a dynamic, energetic, and thriving team. We are home to some of the fastest growing health and wellness supplement brands in North America. The Email Marketing Manager position will play a central role helping to share the story of the company brands and help drive sales.  

Under the general direction of the Head of Growth, the position will be responsible for co-managing a team that delivers high-quality copy for customer-facing communication. This includes but is not limited to: emails, sales/landing pages, and canned responses for our Customer Success team. 

As the Email Marketing Manager at Veyl Ventures], you will play a crucial role in promoting health and well-being through effective email marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for creating and executing email strategies that resonate with our audiences, drive engagement, and support our mission. Collaboration with various teams and a passion for health and wellness are essential for success in this role.

  • This is a hybrid position based in NYC. You must have access to a computer and high-speed internet for this position.


Essential Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with the organization's mission.
  • Create targeted and personalized email campaigns to promote wellness programs, products, and services.
  • Utilize segmentation to tailor content for different audience groups.
  • Ensure all email communications adhere to the organization's brand and messaging guidelines.
  • Monitor email campaign performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improving campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and provide weekly report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with creative writers, wellness experts, and design teams to align email marketing initiatives with organizational goals and brand expectations.
  • Work with IT and compliance teams to ensure email marketing platforms and campaigns are secure and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Aggressively test new language and concepts in order to optimize each touchpoint of the customer experience.
  • Increase customer engagement, Cart Value, and Lifetime Value through strategic, content-driven sales. 
  • Identify target audience and grow our email list
  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices
  • Work with tech team to ensure content is uploaded in a timely manner
  • Be active in keeping a current and comprehensive understanding of company product offerings. 
Requirements

 

  • Minimum 3-5+ years in Direct Response
  • Past experience with email marketing/deliverability, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics
  • Proficient using marketing automation technology
  • Knowledge of latest digital marketing trends
  • Experience with email automation tools
  • Sense of ownership and pride to develop and own process
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Creative thinking to develop engaging and informative health and wellness email campaigns.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to keep workload organized, set priorities, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines. 
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency with Google Drive, G Suite, Slack, Monday.com, Zoom and customer.io.
  • Genuine interest in health and wellness is desired. 
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment is a plus.
  • Big bonus points if you speak Spanish.
