Administrative Services Specialist

BTR is looking for an organized, flexible, self-directed, and willing to learn individual to hit-the-ground-running with assisting our management and admin teams. This position includes a variety of responsibilities.

The ideal candidate would be a fast learner of processes and one who proactively takes ownership of responsibilities and uses proper resources to complete assignments correctly. This is a 40 hour per week position, Monday - Friday. This is a remote position.

This person needs to be self-disciplined enough to work from home, detail-oriented, great with time management, able to handle a fast paced work environment and enjoys working in a team environment.

Specific responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage responsibilities in Admin Team Mail box and Vendor Relationships
  • Provide support to the Administrative Services Team
  • Maintain, create, design and update PowerPoints
  • Marketing aspects (initiative in 2018)
  • Content writing, such as conference summaries for blog and newsletter, blogs and newsletter articles
  • Create and distribute employee anniversary announcements and birthday announcements
  • Support BTR members' lifecycle at the company
  • Participate in the planning of annual all-team virtual events
  • Assist in the planning of annual BTR All Team Meeting

QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be advanced in PowerPoint

Must have at least five years of office experience

Prefer at least two years of content writing experience

Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions

Strong organizational and time management skills

Diligent documentation habits

Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PPT)

Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fluid, flexible, fast-paced team environment

High level of professionalism, productivity, dependability, judgement and accuracy
