JOB SUMMARY 

Kermans Flooring LLC is currently seeking a Floor Prep Technician to assist new construction jobsites with preparation of floor for installation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Grid slabs to ensure flat/smooth surface for flooring install 
• Sand wood subfloor to ensure flat surface for flooring install 
• Screw subfloor down to prevent squeaks 
• Apply floor prep to concrete and subfloor to ensure flat/smooth surface for flooring install

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.  Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
