Responsibilities include:

• administering and interpreting results of speech and language evaluations
• designing intervention plans based on results of diagnostic assessments
• provision of individual speech and language treatment
• collaborating with classroom teachers, audiologists, and other professionals
• maintaining close communication with families to promote carryover of skills
• actively engaging in professional development to remain current in the field
• possible supervision of SLP-A
• possible work with families of children in Clarke’s Early Intervention program

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
• MA State Licensure (or eligible to apply)
• Experience with students with hearing loss is desirable but not necessary
• Initial Teacher Certification (or willingness to apply)
• Experience with the IEP Process
