SUMMARY

Perform scheduled routine maintenance on dock levelers, dock doors, truck restraints, fans, high speed doors, rolling steel doors, hollow metal doors or any equipment we have under contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an entry level equipment service and maintenance position.

SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Working in the field with other crew members

Clean area of all debris

Lubricate , adjust and verify proper operation of all service equipment

Perform a safety inspection of all equipment

Document and communicate necessary repairs or safety issues

Populate and complete work worders

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Must have clean driving record

Must pass a drug test and DOT physical

Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and management

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Experience in a field of repair or construction type service-related field

Entry level position with potential for advancement

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma/GED

WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously will full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting and reaching, etc. Work is performed in a maintenance environment with potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, or solvents which require knowledge of proper safety procedures. Will be working outside and inside customer facilities. Will be exposed to weather conditions.
