We're expanding our team of service technicians and seeking a highly motivated electrician to join us. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, spanning residential and commercial settings. If you're an experienced electrician with excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor, comfortable working independently in customers' homes yet ready to collaborate effectively with a small team, we encourage you to apply.  Compensation is commensurate with experience, starting at $25.00 per hour and negotiable based on qualifications. Additionally, we're thrilled to cover 100% of employee-only health insurance premiums. 

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and small commercial settings

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codes

• Communicate with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide recommendations

• Keep accurate records of all work completed and materials used

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 lbs., along with agility in climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, grasping, and reaching 

• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check

As a Service Technician for Lynn Electric, you will diagnose and repair electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of electrical systems, operational equipment, wiring devices, lighting systems, light fixtures, switch panels, motor control devices, transformers and other electrical components according to the National Electric Code and applicable local electrical codes, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and operational equipment. Common customer requests include the installation of additional components to existing electrical systems, or the installation of brand-new electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. Emergency calls received after hours, on weekends, and during holidays will be handled through voluntary participation in on-call rotations.
