Auto Driveaway is a leading national provider of professional vehicle relocation services. Auto Driveaway primarily serves large corporate fleets as well as vehicle leasing and management companies with fast, safe and reliable door-to-door service nationwide. Services include fleet shipping and fleet management services; single vehicle “door-to-door driveaway” shipping; “truckaway” shipping via the industry’s largest network of DOT approved Motor Carriers; expedited shipping; enclosed carrier shipping for high-value vehicles; international (overseas) shipping; short-term and long-term vehicle storage; licensing, titling and registration of vehicles; and vehicle maintenance and reconditioning services.
Specialized and dedicated Account Managers are a cornerstone of the Auto Driveaway value proposition. The Account Manager is responsible for learning and understanding all aspects of a customer’s transportation and logistics needs, serving as the single point of contact for day to day transactions as well as overseeing complex projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Auto Driveaway customers
- Manage customer orders, quotes, status updates, escalations etc. as needed for the assigned customer portfolio
- Assist customers with access and training to utilize Auto Driveaway’s customer portal
- Provide requested reporting and analytics
- Develop customer policies and Service Level Agreements that address customer needs and pain points, while ensuring the overall success and efficiency of the Auto Driveaway network of offices
- Grow Auto Driveaway’s relationship with the customer through the offering of additional products and services
- Collaborate with all Auto Driveaway offices on customer needs, moves, updates etc.
- Coordinate and communicate with other suppliers in the customer’s fleet supply chain, including vehicle manufacturers, upfitters, maintenance providers etc.
- Orchestrate ad-hoc projects as needed by assigned customers
Requirements
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of account management experience
- Strong background in customer service
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with e-mail and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment, recognizing a sense of urgency and drive to achieve results
Preferred Skills
- Project planning and project management skills
- Knowledge of the fleet or commercial vehicle industry
- Logistics or transportation background
- Data analysis and/or report building experience
The compensation range for this role is $48,000-$60,000, depending on industry experience, plus participation in the company's bonus programs and full suite of benefits.
