JOB SUMMARY


Markraft is currently seeking a Showroom Coordinator/ Designer to join our team! The primary function of Showroom Coordinator/ Designer is to provide administrative support to the Project Manager to ensure jobs are completed as efficiently and timely as practical and manage the Design Studio, including but not limited to, all sales and operations issues relating to the Design Center in accordance with Markraft’s Core Values.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Receiving customers and their inquiries/calls and directing them accordingly
  • Pricing/Quoting jobs per drawings from sales representative
  • Preparing all necessary paperwork for a complete order
  • Preparing installation packages
  • Supporting project managers and service technicians with inquiries, tracking materials/specs, and gathering customer specifications and selections
  • Process and track parts to finish orders
  • Making revisions to initial drawings and designs from sales representative
  • Coordinating with installation scheduler to pre-schedule parts
  • Coordinating with installer to confirm completion of delivery/missing parts
  • Track and process Job Completion Certificates
  • Assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, as directed
  • Assisting with scheduling, as directed
  • Estimating and 20/20 design
  • Providing the highest level of customer service to all customers who enter the Selection Center
  • Driving sales by building quality customer relationships that result in increased sales and repeat business
  • Design Center Opening/Closing responsibility
  • Design consultations with customers to obtain selections and specifications
  • Field measurements Coordination as needed
  • Accurate pricing and quote preparation
  • Obtaining customer authorization to perform work
  • Preparation of accurate designs and layouts and release of complete and accurate orders consistent with the scope of work agreed to by the customer
  • Parts orders to complete jobs as needed
  • Addressing feedback from customers on job performance
  • Job inspection upon completion
  • Accurate recordkeeping supporting the scope of our services and related pricing
  • Accountability to job completion and job performance logs
  • Bringing jobs to a point of collectability
  • Merchandising and presentations of products in the Sales Center and the operation of the Sales Center
  • Maintaining literature and samples within the Sales Center
  • Design Center appearance and maintenance
  • Customer follow up after visit to Design Center 
  • Other duties, as may be assigned


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Must have design and cabinet experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • 20/20 Design Program experience a plus
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of environments, tasks, and responsibilities

  • Detail-Oriented; Thorough
  • Strong Communication Skills; both written and verbal
