Job Summary

The Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT) will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the overall IT strategy for Exegy. Reporting directly to the CFO, the VP of IT will be responsible for overseeing and managing the networking and systems functions within the corporate IT department to meet strategic business imperatives. This includes business applications, data strategy, network infrastructure, servers, cloud computing and storage, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, privacy, helpdesk, and IT vendor management.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strong change agent and a visionary leader with the ability to lead and inspire technology professionals to succeed in a fast-changing market, keeping the team focused on breakthrough strategies and tactics to best leverage the resources of the company
  • Ensure that the IT processes are effectively designed, documented, operating and monitored such that there are no significant or material weaknesses in the IT controls related to financial reporting, including disaster prevention and recover, and IT security
  • Manage all IT policies and procedures in accordance with Exegy’s quality and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the corporate network infrastructure
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the network, including monitoring and responding to security incidents
  • Lead the systems team in managing and optimizing corporate IT systems, including servers, storage, and virtualization
  • Implement and maintain systems for efficient data storage, backup, and disaster recovery
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
  • Evaluate and recommend technology investments to support organizational objectives
  • Ensure clear communication with cross-functional team leaders, executive management, and third-party providers


Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 10+ years of proven senior IT leadership experience
  • Strong background in networking, systems management, and corporate IT
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication and leadership skills required to drive the team to deliver technology solutions
  • Client service mindset with proven ability to communicate complex concepts to a range of senior business stakeholders
  • Experience/certification (MCSE, CCNP, ITIL, or equivalent) related to cyber security governance, risk and compliance, audits and assessments, and/or support and delivery of IT services
  • Strong people and vendor management, including negotiation, planning and execution skills
  • Proven ability to manage complexity and change
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing IT budgets
  • Financial services or knowledge of capital markets preferred
