Description

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a multi-disciplined engineering firm of professional engineers, environmental scientists, planners, and landscape architects, is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Electrical Engineer for a full-time position in our Syracuse office.  


Responsibilities as a member of the Facilities Group include engineering design, client communications, project management and coordination oversight with other internal disciplines including electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, process and transportation engineers.

Requirements

Applicants should have 0-3 years of electrical engineering experience with a desired emphasis in the practice of consulting engineering and a working knowledge of medium and/or high voltage power systems design, protection/coordination, overhead line design, electrical distribution, emergency/distributed power generation, lighting, controls, telemetry, alarm systems, and telecommunications for industrial, municipal and commercial clients.


Candidates should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Position requires proficient technical writing and communication skills with AutoCAD/Revit experience. Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) in NY (or eligibility to obtain) and LEED certification is desired.


Estimated Pay Range: $67,000 - $81,000/year.

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
