MSP College Intern
Description

Prime Secured is seeking a college student who would like to participate in a Summer Internship. The Intern will have the opportunity for a paid internship, no more than 20 hours per week. Prime Secured may choose to continue the student’s employment past the initial duration of the internship. At the discretion of Prime Secured leadership, employment may be extended to a date up to one year from the initial start date; but may end without notice at the sole discretion of Prime. 

Requirements

Major Roles and Responsibilities

  • Image workstations with Windows Deployment Services.   
  • Support the internal systems team by assisting with troubleshooting internal printers, TVs, office equipment, etc..   
  • Assist with new workstation setups.
  • Review IT documentation for accuracy.
  • Address password resets and level one helpdesk service tickets. 
  • Investigate client environments and help to provide security recommendations. 
  • Assist with wiping and recycling of computers and hard drives. 
  • Help with IT hardware configuration, provisioning and/or installation.
  • Other duties as assigned.   

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Working toward a degree in related field.
  • You must retain full-time student status in an accredited Nebraska or Iowa college for the duration of the internship. 
  • Interest in computer networking, cybersecurity, and related fields.
  • Currently or previously enrolled in computer or cybersecurity related courses. 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and personal computers. 
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot new systems as needed. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to the office.  
  • Good judgment is required. 
  • Strong organizational skills are required. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills are a must!  

Additional Notes

  • Individuals with a felony or misdemeanor convictions MAY not be hired. 
  • Individuals must not have any alcohol or drug-related convictions or suspensions within the past three years.  
  • Individual must be able to read and understand instructions in English as well as possess good oral and written communication skills.   
  • Individual must be able to pass a drug and physical screening as well as background requirements.
