Description

WLRC Medical is seeking a full-time Mechanic to join our team. Our mechanics are responsible for maintaining our diesel and gas ambulance, wheelchair vans, busses, and other fleet vehicles.



Requirements
  • Repair, troubleshooting and diagnosis of ambulances / emergency vehicles
  • Reconditioning, preventative and routine maintenance
  • Inspections and road tests
  • Diagnosis, inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components such as: brakes, suspension, tires, bearings, seals, radiators, water pumps, coolant hoses, alternators, regulators, steering components, oil/air filters, door assemblies, controls, seats, belts, electric motors, pneumatic valves, cables, and the specialized equipment in emergency vehicles.
  • Respond to road calls and cover weekends / evenings on a rotating schedule

Requirements

  • Proven ability to use hands tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, and testing instruments
  • Minimum of two years experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Must be 19 years or older
  • Must be available to work a rotating schedule of:
  • Week 1: Tuesday - Saturday 0800 - 1630
  • Week 2: Monday - Friday 0800 - 1630

Salary Description
$19 - $24 an hour
