SUMMARY:  This position is primarily  responsible for driving a truck or automobile  over established route to  deliver product to customers by performing  the duties listed below.

MAIN TASKS/JOB DUTIES/GOALS:

• Reports to Area Sales & Delivery Manager
• Should possess a CDL Class B and/or CDL Class A but not required
• This job requires intense lifting of up to 170 lbs per stop
• ALL in-house training prior to being on a route individually
• Deliver orders, samples, and POS materials to customers based on a daily established route
• Drive and operate a Hop & Wine Beverage vehicle
• Collect customer payments based on specified invoice terms
• Acts as liaison with account managers, dispatch, and warehouse staff to meet Company’s obligations to the client
• Comply with daily check-in/check-out procedures
• Ensure vehicle is maintained and report any issues immediately to operations/warehouse manager
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition
• Maintain a valid Virginia driver’s license at all times
• Maintain a valid health health card at all times
• Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

Ideal Candidate:

• Active Driver's license (Non-CDL, CDL B, CDL A)
• Candidate must pass a DOT physical, background investigation, and pre-employment drug screening.
• REQUIRED 1+ years of experience driving a commercial vehicle
• Candidate must have good communication skills and be able to lift up to 170 pounds on routine basis.
• Reliable, punctual, self-starter, capable of operating with minimal direction or supervision.
