Mid-Level Architect
Description

Great architecture is about more than how a design looks - it’s about how a design makes you feel. For RDG architects, it's also about envisioning what could be, forging a bold path forward for our clients and our practice. We're currently looking for a mid-level architect to join our team and focus on design work for one or more of our key markets including, but not limited to, College & University; Academic Health Science and Research; Healthcare; Community projects; and Senior Living. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to design innovative, flexible, collaborative spaces that enhance the quality of life for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Essential Job Functions:

· Collaborate with the project team and client to develop design details and full construction documents

· Growing into and/or serving as a project manager for projects of various scales

· Assist with renderings and other digital communication tools to tell the overall design story

· Learn, develop and push the envelope on design in key markets

· Produce presentations that communicate our design expertise

· Apply knowledge of codes and working with outside consultants

Education/Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Architecture (Graduate degree preferred)
  • 5-15 years experience
  • Focus on architectural design and construction documentation
  • Proficient in Revit, Enscape, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office applications
