JOB SUMMARY

WELCOME TO NONN’S!

We’re looking for a Delivery Driver to come work for our team. The perfect individual for this role has the ability to: safely drive our trucks from the warehouse to clients’ homes, deliver and unload appliances into the homes, and drive back. You’re the last step to a customer’s remodeling process, the most exciting part!

At Nonn’s, we offer an endless array of different careers in all types of environments! Where you start your journey with us is just the beginning of a bright future full of even more opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

As a valued Delivery Driver, you’ll be working at our warehouse traveling to multiple job sites. (If you love traveling and hate being in one work environment all day, this role was made for you). Though you’ll be working mostly independently, you’ll still be a part of a great, supportive team of distribution professionals.

Each day you walk into the warehouse, you’ll start off by recording the number of materials or items received or distributed and compile worksheets or tickets from customer orders. Then, you’ll walk over to your truck, check out its condition, and log your inspection. You’ll load up the truck with client orders for the day and start delivering! This is the best part of the day; you get to be outside in the sunshine and fresh air, exploring different neighborhoods and areas in Wisconsin.

After you’ve gotten to all your destinations and unloaded the truck, you’ll make your way back to the distribution center, return any empty containers and rejected/unsold merchandise, and log any customer-related matters. And that’s your day!

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.  Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
