Essential Functions of the Job 



Responsibilities


  • Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events. 
  • Account Management: Identify and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within your portfolio, demonstrating value through regular reviews, business goal alignment and responsive action to all raised challenges.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand customer pain points and business objectives to provide tailored software solutions and demonstrate the value proposition. 
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our software products, staying up-to-date with updates and enhancements. 
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, showcasing how our software meets their specific needs. 
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with prospects to convert them into long-term, satisfied customers. 
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Keep accurate records of customer activities and opportunities using our CRM system and manage the sales pipeline effectively. 
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and close deals, meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Market Feedback: Provide customer insights to Product teams for new features, functionality, and enhancements 
  • Perform other related duties such as participating in various projects or initiatives.


Requirements

Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinker who is comfortable using data & insights to grow relationships by identifying and solving problems
  • Motivated and comfortable working remotely as well as on the road or in the field, with a positive, customer first attitude. 
  • Effectively work cross-functionally and with a wide range of people with different skill sets
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Proven ability to set clear and deliverable goals – demonstrate tenacity and a commitment to deliver and be accountable for results
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while solving problems quickly and creatively, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
  • Proven track record in software sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite.


Additional Requirements:

  • Up to 40% travel.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred or 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive Software Industry preferred.
