FN America offers a full-time, paid summer internship program to students that will provide interns with a practical real-world, career-related experience within a professional setting. Our program offers an opportunity for students to apply the knowledge and theories learned in the classroom to the world of work. Our goal is to ensure that interns have a productive and positive learning experience.

As an Military Programs Intern, you will:

  • Support key business elements with an emphasis on process improvements pertaining to the request for bid and information (RBI) process.
  • Support the Director and Program Manager on programmatic needs and objectives to facilitate tasks execution and customer satisfaction for all military programs. 
  • Develop key project management skills.
  • Develop and innovate solutions that will be used to solve real business needs. 
  • Define, exam, and propose potential solutions to address the RBI inefficiencies.
  • Improve existing tracking tools used for military forecasting.
  • Support other Program Managers as needed for project management tasks, customer inquiries, team engagement, etc. 


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to perform, adapt, and execute in a high pace working environment.
  • D. A manufacturing and technical background is preferred. 

Preferred Degree Program: Business Management, Business Administration, or Information Technology

Internship Program Dates: May 13-August 2, 2024 (12 weeks)


The intern must:

  • Be a full-time enrolled student, in good standing with an accredited educational institution.
  • Be an undergraduate (rising Junior or senior) or graduate student.
  • Have a 2.8 GPA or higher with no academic or corrective action on record.

Working Conditions

Typical office environment with some travel between buildings and to other locations required. May be exposed to loud noises, toxic chemicals, and dangerous machinery when on the plant floor.
