Job Duties:
This is a full time, high-volume call center sales position reporting directly to the Senior Vice President in Saratoga Springs, NY. The role will be either hybrid or remote, depending on your location. During training, new team members are submerged in a blend of computer-based and instructor-led trainings over a three-to-four-month span.
- Learn and apply directional sales techniques through hands-on sales coaching from successful Mortgage Bankers
- Provide fantastic customer service to clients and referrals
- Outbound calling to potential customers, serving as first point of contact
- Operate loan origination software
- Become an expert at using CRM and lead management
- Work alongside like-minded peers in a competitive, lively call center environment
- Representing the bank in a positive manner and network to create additional loan opportunities for yourself and the company
- Engaging with prospective customers via text, email, and phone
- High school degree or GED required, 2-4 year college degree preferred
- 1 + year(s) of experience in sales or retail, hospitality, and food & beverage industries preferred, not required
- Friendly, outgoing personality accompanied by a naturally high sales acumen
- A passion for sales and have demonstrated that successfully through experience
- An innate, customer-centric mentality and understand the importance of asking the right questions, identifying pain-points, and creating long-lasting relationships
