Love being a part of a small team that makes a BIG impact?!  Creative Custom Homes could be the home for you!  We are seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our high-energy, rapidly growing custom home division! This position plays an integral role in supporting our field production team.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working at a fast pace, negotiate effectively, and be passionate about maintaining profitable relationships with trade partners.

Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Creating purchase orders for all fieldwork to be completed and distributing purchase orders through builder’s software.
• Bid and analyze costs of Contractors and Suppliers to ensure Creative Custom Homes maintains a competitive cost position.
• Work with project managers to ensure accurate execution of PO’s and VPO’s.
• Collaborate with Project Managers by managing trades/subcontractors and supporting their partnerships with Creative Custom Homes.
• Negotiate with trades regarding future work with Creative Custom Homes, including but not limited to pricing, quality of work, and overall expectations regarding Creative Custom Homes’ policies and building sites.
• Ensure all trade documentation is updated and maintained. 
• Generate house budgets within an accurate time frame.
• Work with the Accounting Department in reconciling invoices and payments. Complete all rebate programs and discounts quarterly.
• Homebuilding experience preferred, with experience in purchasing and estimating processes, building codes, materials, and products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, and aptitude to learn new software programs (Hypen, BuildPro, BuilderTrend) 
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a changing workplace.
• Must be a positive, goal-oriented, team player and work with a sense of urgency.
