Description

Primary Job Duties:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of Restaurant and Bowling Lanes service, ensuring all service and product standards are exceeded.
  • Meets regularly with department manager to ensure service goals, training needs, and all departmental goals remain on target.
  • Assist in supporting all F&B departments in the achievement of their financial and operational targets.
  • Assist Restaurant Manager and HR Manager in selection, training and development of all restaurant team members to ensure timely recruitment, training, and career growth.
  • Promotes development through well planned cross training programs.
  • Assist in department schedules as initiated by the Restaurant Manager.
  • Assist in development of daily floor charts for Servers.
  • Ensures the implementation of standards in guest service and constantly seek ways to improve product and service as well as increase volume and profits
  • Consistent maintenance and refinement of service, bar/beverage standards through team work.
  • Collaborates with the bartenders in refinement of successful seasonal bar menu turns and drink specials as directed by Director of F&B.
  • Assures consistent maintenance of F&B systems and control procedures in all restaurant operations.
  • Assist in control of F&B, labor and operating expenses within the restaurant department.
  • Ensures all F&B operations meet sanitation and safety compliance for FOH.
  • Periodically checking TABC and Food Handler compliance.
  • Consistently offers professional, friendly and engaging service to guests and team members.
  • Table Touching to ensure complete Guest Satisfaction.
  • Effectively train FOH Team members in Open Table.
  • Assist as needed in other areas as requested by a manager.
  • Maintain uniform standards and a professional appearance for all Team Members.
Requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for long periods of time with frequent bending and turning
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold temperatures

Special Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in menu knowledge and food service basics
  • Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate or other similar license per local code
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Obtain training certification per company policy
  • Must possess a valid TABC or other legal license to sell/serve alcohol per local code

  • 1+ year Prior Guest Service Experience in Restaurant Hospitality.
  • Ability to Anticipate and Respond to Guests needs in a Timely and Friendly Manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use a point of sale system and other electronic devices.
  • Military Service Background Highly Desired.
