JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for an Appliance Technician to come join our team! The perfect professional for this role will have the ability to be flexible and handle a variety of duties, including service, installation and delivery. Our Appliance Technicians must provide a high level of customer service, while handling challenging aspects of appliance service and installation that may require innovative thinking with the ability to switch gears quickly and help out the team in other areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Your typical day: When you walk into the warehouse, you’ll start off by loading up your truck for the day with customer orders. Once everything is strapped in, you’ll hit the road! You’ll follow your client schedule for the day and arrive at each customer destination. When you get there, you’ll install or service the appliances, make sure the customer is happy with the job, and move on to the next one. Because we work as a team to support each other, at times you may be joining the delivery team to help unload and unbox appliances in homes and apartment buildings.

After you’ve gotten to all your destinations, you’ll make your way back to the warehouse and unload your truck, return any empty containers and rejected/unsold merchandise, and log any customer-related matters. And that’s your day!

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
